• Journal articles: monthly articles are drafted and published automatically by an AI system on a schedule.
• Imagery: many images on the website were generated with AI and are illustrative.
• Drafting help: some guide text was drafted or edited with AI assistance and then reviewed by the publisher.

Human review

Neighborhood suggestions are generated live and are not reviewed by a person before you see them. Journal articles are published automatically without review before publication; the publisher may review and correct them afterwards. Guide pages were reviewed when written.

Limits of AI output

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased or misleading, and can state errors confidently. Do not rely on AI-generated material for consequential decisions such as buying, selling, building, financing, school enrollment or legal matters. Verify everything with the appropriate organization or licensed professional.

What happens to your text

Text you submit to the neighborhood tool is sent to an AI model provider through our hosting platform's AI gateway. This website does not store it. We have not verified the provider's retention or model-training practices, so do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information.
